Chestnut pollen represents the pollen par excellence in our region, both from a quantitative but above all qualitative point of view.
Collected on the Castanea sativa L. plant , famous for its fruits: Chestnuts.
Chestnut pollen contains amino acids, iron, group B vitamins, as well as folic acid, manganese and niacin.
Vitamin D is also present.
The color is intense yellow, sometimes there may be a small quantity of green bramble pollen which blooms in the same period, also of remarkable quality.
